Maeve McClenaghan is a journalist, writer and podcaster. She works for the Bureau of Investigative Journalism and is creator and host of The Tip Off podcast.

A multi-award winning journalist, Maeve has produced investigations for BBC radio, UnEarthed, the Guardian and Buzzfeed UK.

Her first book No Fixed Abode will be published by Picador in September 2020.

Maeve has won the Bar Council’s Legal Reporting Award, the Royal Statistical Society’s Excellence in Journalism Award and the Expert Citizen’s Insight through Journalism Award. She has been a finalist at the British Journalism Awards four times, has been shortlisted for five Amnesty Media Awards, the Paul Foot Award, London Press Club Digital Journalist of the Year, Words by Women News Reporter of the Year and has been nominated for the prestigious Orwell Prize three times. She was an inaugural Bertha Foundation Fellow from 2019-2020 and her work has been used in parliamentary inquiries, a foreign Truth Commission, a Supreme Court judgement, and as an influence on new UNHCR guidelines.
